Antbaits
Matchballs
It's a great idea, they have many advantages over 'normal' groundbaits:
Being totally consistent, each ball looks exactly the same as the others
They can be thrown, catapulted or 'sticked' great distances, just like
boilies
They are clean - no sticky mess, no mixing, no water needed
They expand up to three times their weight and volume
They break down very quickly to form a 'carpet' on the bottom, full of
flavour, colour and 'fizz'
Falling slowly through the water - they will not scare any wary fish
They are light, easy to carry and store
Once opened they can be re-used at a later date (providing you keep them
dry)

Matchballs
- are basically ready-made groundbait
balls in a can! It's as simple as that!
|
|
They
can be put on a PVA stringer just likes boilies, (an added advantage is
they will control the hook-bait's descent through the water (because of
their lightness), ideal for silty/weedy waters)
Available in various flavours and colours to suit every anglers needs
Sounds
too good to be true doesn't it?
But they do work - we've tried them here at AnglersTimes and can't fault
them.
AnglersTimes Tip: When you throw them in - they may float for a few seconds
- but if dip them in water first - they go straight down.

Hair Rig Hookers

These are pellets with a difference!
They
are fairly hard pellets with a hole ready-made through the middle, so
all you have to do is hair-rig them and you are away!
When you open a tub of the hookers to have a sniff (you have to, don't
you)... they smell lovely! They've just gotta catch!
They come in various flavours and can be matched up with Antbait Matchballs
to make a winning combination.
We're told one angler had 13 fish on the same pellet...so you should land
quite a few fish with just one tub! This is
how we hook them...
AnglersTimes
Tip: Use a little strip of silicon tube as a hair-stop, and gently pull
it into the pellet to help grip the pellet onto the hair.
Right: Matchballs
in a feeder... good idea eh?
